The Lenovo k8 plus is a product launched by the company which is close to stock android with an exception of a few apps like Microsoft apps and some sort of Lenovo specific apps like the camera and Lenovo help, with an android 7.1.1 nougat at launch but, now is running Android 8.0.0 and will likely stay with this version only and the security patch is of July 2018 as sadly Lenovo only gives its device a security patch once in three months, and then I really like the performance of the battery as it lasts for about a day and half of regular usage.
